Core Wood Materials
Walnut & Beech
Premium solid woods with strong grain character. Walnut is favored for luxury jewelry boxes, watch boxes and gift boxes. Beech offers a lighter, finer grain suitable for natural finish applications.
Spanish Cedar
The standard material for wooden cigar boxes. Spanish Cedar (Cedrus) naturally regulates humidity and repels tobacco beetles. Its aromatic properties also complement the cigar aging process -- essential for US cigar box projects.
Okoume & Pine
Okoume is a lightweight, stable hardwood widely used for wine boxes, gift boxes and lacquered packaging. Pine is cost-effective for rustic or natural-finish boxes. Both accept paint and lacquer finishes well.
MDF & MDF Veneer
MDF is the preferred substrate for piano lacquer, high-gloss and matte painted boxes. It provides a flat, stable surface that holds finish better than solid wood. MDF with real wood veneer delivers natural wood appearance on a dimensionally stable base.
Surface Finishing Options
All surface finishing processes are completed in-house. We apply the appropriate finish based on material, product type and end-use requirements.
Piano Lacquer
3-5mm lacquer build-up applied in multiple coats with sanding between each layer. Produces a near-glass, mirror-like surface. Used for high-end perfume boxes, jewelry boxes, watch boxes and premium gift boxes.
Matte & Glossy Painting
Spray-applied paint finishes in any RAL or Pantone color. Matte painting gives a soft, premium look suitable for branded wine boxes, gift boxes and display props. Glossy painting offers a more vibrant, reflective surface.
Clear Varnish & Veneer
Clear varnish preserves the natural wood color and grain texture -- ideal for walnut, oak and beech boxes where the wood itself is the visual feature. Veneer finish applies a real wood surface layer over MDF for a natural look with structural stability.
Branding Techniques
Logo and branding can be applied via laser engraving (permanent, precise), hot stamping (gold/silver foil, premium look), silk screen printing (multi-color logo) or metal logo plate (luxury inlay appearance). We advise the best method per material and finish.

Size, Structure & Compartments
Custom outer dimensions, wall thickness, lid type (hinged, sliding, lift-off, magnetic), internal compartments, dividers and insert trays. We develop the structure from your drawing, sample or product dimensions.
Interior Lining & Insert
Velvet lining (black, white, burgundy, custom color), satin lining, suede lining, EVA foam insert, custom-cut foam, vacuum-formed plastic tray. Lining color and material are matched to the product and brand requirements.
Hardware & Closure
Hinges, clasps, magnetic closures, barrel bolts, ribbon pulls, lock-and-key sets, corner protectors and decorative metal fittings. Hardware finish options include antique brass, matte silver, gold and nickel.
Outer Packaging & Carton
