Solid Wood
Natural solid wood delivers authentic grain texture, structural strength and premium feel. Best suited for high-end wine boxes, cigar boxes, jewelry boxes and gift boxes where natural wood character is part of the brand story.
Best for: Premium wine boxes, cigar boxes, jewelry display props, watch boxes, gift boxes requiring natural wood grain appearance.
Okoume
Okoume (Gaboon) is a lightweight African hardwood widely used in wooden box manufacturing. It machines cleanly, holds paint and lacquer well, and is ideal for structures requiring a smooth painted or veneered surface finish at a controlled cost.
Best for: Wine boxes, gift boxes and packaging boxes requiring piano lacquer, matte painting, glossy painting or veneer surface finish.
Cedar (Spanish Cedar)
Spanish Cedar (Cedrus) is the industry-standard material for cigar boxes. Its natural aromatic properties help regulate humidity and protect cigar quality. Preferred material for US cigar box projects and premium humidor-style structures.
Best for: Cigar boxes, humidor structures, sliding lid cigar boxes and hinged lid cigar boxes for cigar brands and trading companies.
MDF
Medium Density Fibreboard provides a dimensionally stable, smooth and consistent surface that is ideal for piano lacquer, matte painting, glossy painting and veneer application. MDF is the most common base material for high-end perfume boxes, jewelry boxes and gift packaging.
Best for: Perfume boxes, watch boxes, jewelry boxes, gift boxes and display boxes requiring piano lacquer or painted finishes.
MDF Veneer
Real wood veneer applied over an MDF core delivers the visual warmth and grain pattern of solid wood with the dimensional stability of MDF. Suitable for projects where natural wood appearance is required without the cost and weight of full solid wood construction.
Best for: Premium wine boxes, watch boxes, gift boxes and display boxes requiring natural wood grain appearance with structural consistency.

The surface finish defines the look, feel and perceived value of your wooden box. We offer a full range of finishing techniques to match your brand and product positioning.
Piano Lacquer
High-gloss lacquer finish with 3-5mm build-up, delivering a near-glass mirror surface. The most premium surface finish option. Requires skilled spray application and multiple sanding and polishing stages. Suitable for high-end perfume boxes, jewelry boxes, wine boxes and gift boxes.
Matte Painting
Flat matte paint finish delivers a refined, understated look favored by contemporary luxury brands. Available in any RAL or Pantone color. Suitable for wine boxes, perfume boxes, watch boxes, gift boxes and jewelry packaging.
Glossy Painting
High-gloss paint finish without the full piano lacquer build. Provides a bright, eye-catching surface suitable for display boxes, gift boxes and retail packaging where visual impact is important.
Clear Varnish
Transparent protective varnish preserves the natural wood color and grain texture while providing surface protection. Available in matte, satin and gloss sheens. Best used on solid wood and MDF veneer boxes where natural wood character is the design intent.
Veneer Finish
Real wood veneer (Walnut, Oak, Ash, Maple and others) laminated to MDF or solid wood core. Delivers natural grain appearance with structural consistency. Finished with clear varnish, matte lacquer or oil. Suitable for premium wine boxes, watch boxes and corporate gift boxes.
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving burns your logo, text, pattern or artwork directly into the wood surface, creating a permanent and precise branded mark. Works on solid wood, MDF and veneer surfaces. No additional plates or screens required for setup.
Hot Stamping
Gold, silver or custom foil stamping applied to the wood surface using heat and pressure. Produces a metallic, reflective logo or pattern. Commonly used on cigar boxes, wine boxes and gift boxes for a traditional luxury branding effect.
Silk Screen Printing
Screen printing applies ink directly to the wood or painted surface in one or multiple colors. Suitable for logos, text, patterns and detailed artwork. Commonly used on cigar boxes, wine boxes and promotional gift boxes.
Metal Logo Plate
Custom metal nameplate (brass, zinc alloy, stainless steel) with engraved or debossed logo, mounted to the box surface. Adds a premium, tactile branding element. Widely used on watch boxes, jewelry boxes, perfume boxes and corporate gift boxes.

What information do I need to provide to get a quote?
You can share a drawing (PDF, DWG, AI, sketch), a photo of a reference sample, dimensions (L×W×H), product type, material preference, surface finish requirement, logo method, lining type, target quantity and destination country. The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurate our quotation will be. If you are not sure about materials or finish, our team can advise based on your product type and market.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 500 pieces per design. For some simple structures or existing tooling, lower quantities may be possible -- please discuss your specific requirements with our team. For initial sampling, MOQ does not apply; we produce physical samples before any bulk order is placed.
How long does sampling take?
Standard sample lead time is 7-15 working days from confirmed design and specifications. More complex structures involving piano lacquer, multi-stage finishing or intricate CNC carving may require additional time. We will confirm the exact sample timeline when reviewing your brief.
What is the bulk production lead time?
Bulk production typically takes 35-65 working days after sample approval and order confirmation. Lead time varies depending on product structure complexity, surface finish type (piano lacquer requires more curing time), order quantity and current production schedule. We provide a confirmed production schedule when the order is placed.
Can you match our brand colors for the paint finish?
Yes. We can match colors to any RAL or Pantone specification. For new color requirements, we produce a color chip or color panel sample for your confirmation before proceeding to bulk production. Please provide your Pantone code, RAL number or a physical color reference when placing your inquiry.
Do you offer ODM -- can you develop a new design from scratch?
Yes. Our 10-person R&D team can develop a new product design from your brief, concept or market requirement. You share your product type, target market, budget range, style preference and any reference images -- we develop the structure drawing, material plan and surface finish recommendation, then produce a physical sample for your review. Full ODM service from concept to bulk production.
What logo application methods are available?
We offer laser engraving, hot stamping (gold, silver or custom foil), silk screen printing, and custom metal logo plates (brass, zinc alloy or stainless steel). The most suitable method depends on the surface material and finish. For example, laser engraving works well on natural wood and veneer surfaces; hot stamping is commonly used on painted or lacquered surfaces; metal plates are often used on piano lacquer or high-end gift boxes. We advise on the best option for your project.
